(The Phanatic Magazine) - The New York Giants have been awarded offensive tackle D.J. Jones on waivers from the Eagles.
Jones spent the majority of last season on the Baltimore Ravens' practice squad and the Eagles claimed him off waivers on Feb. 6 before releasing him Friday.
Originally a fifth-round selection in the 2010 NFL Draft, Petrus has played in 17 NFL regular-season games with three starts.
