Sixers ratings up early in season
PHILADELPHIA – Philadelphia 76ers game broadcast and pre and postgame ratings are up significantly through the first 10 games of the 2011-12 season.
Wednesday's game against the New York Knicks averaged a 3.6 household rating (108,000 households), bringing the season average to a 2.4 HH rating, up 60% over the 2010-11 season start.
Last night’s game was also the highest-rated regular season game since December 7, 2009, when Allen Iverson returned to the Sixers against the Denver Nuggets. The 2.4 HH season rating is also the best start for the Sixers since the 2005-06 season.
Through 10 games, Sixers Pregame Live and Postgame Live are also up significantly. “Sixers Pregame Live’ is averaging a .6 HH rating (18,000 HHS), up 50% over last season. “Sixers Postgame Live” is averaging a 1.3 HH rating (39,000 HHs), up 117% from last season.
