Villanova's Ouabo undergoes knee surgery

VILLANOVA, Pa. –  Senior guard Dallas Ouano (Holmdel, N.J./Christian Brothers Academy) underwent successful surgery Friday morning on his right knee to repair a torn medial meniscus ligament. The surgery was performed by Villanova team orthopedic surgeon Dr. Rob Good.

“Dallas is doing well after the surgery,” stated VU head coach Jay Wright. “I know he’s disappointed that this setback occurred but he continues to exhibit outstanding leadership for our young guys. His work ethic in this rehab will be a great example for our young team.”

Ouano played in three games in his first season as a Wildcat in 2010-11, playing a total of nine minutes without scoring.
