FOXSports' Ken Rosenthal reports that the Phillies were confident of signing Ty Wigginton before the Baltimore Orioles offered two years.
The Phils are have now turned their attention to Nomar Garciaparra and Rich Aurilia, according to Rosenthal with the Giants also interested in Aurilia. Meanwhile, Rosenthal says the Phillies are out in the Will Ohman sweepstakes.
