Late last week, the Philadelphia Flyers managed to puncture the mid-summer doldrums and announce a contract for the last of its restricted free agents.
Nikita Grebenkin, who, unlike teammates Trevor Zegras and Jamie Drysdale, was not arbitration eligible, nonetheless returns to the fold on a 2-year deal worth $2.2 million.
The 23-year-old bottom six winger, who was acquired at the March 2025 trade deadline in the deal which shipped Scott Laughton to the Toronto Maple Leafs, compiled 14 points over 55 regular-season games during his first full NHL campaign.
