Chester, Pa. – The Philadelphia Union have reached a contract termination by mutual consent with midfielder Keon Daniel.
A Trinidad & Tobago international, Daniel was signed by the
Union during the early portion of the 2011 season. Since then, the
midfielder has made 64 appearances and scored two goals while adding
four assists with the club. He did not see any minutes over the first
five games of the 2014 season.
“We think this move is the best decision for both Keon’s career and our club,” said Team Manager John Hackworth. “We wish him luck and thank him for his contributions to the Union.”
