Spagnuolo wants Shurmur

The Phanatic Magazine has confirmed new Rams coach Steve Spagnuolo has targeted Eagles QB coach Pat Shurmur to be his offensive coordinator.

Not sure that's the best place for Shurmur, however. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported that Rams owner Chip Rosenbloom actually preferred Vikings defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier over Spagnuolo. But, Rosenbloom said that it was general manager Billy Devaney’s search and that he would honor his recommendation. That means Spagnuolo will be behind the 8-ball early and the Rams aren't exactly a talented bunch.
