Soul's D'Orazio is AFL Offensive Player of the Week

Philadelphia Soul quarterback Matt D’Orazio was named the AFL's top offensive player for Week 5 of the 2008 season.

D’Orazio (6-4, 230, Otterbein) completed 25-of-35 passes for 296 yards and seven touchdowns as the Philadelphia Soul (5-0) defeated the Tampa Bay Storm (2-2), 59-51, on Saturday. He accounted for eight touchdowns (seven passing, one rushing) as he led the Soul on nine consecutive scoring drives while his passer rating of 136.4 ranked second among all quarterbacks in Week 5.
